Meth lab found on Pleasant Hill

20-year-old arrested on five charges.

---- — Logansport police on Monday uncovered a meth lab and arrested a Logansport resident on five drug-related charges.

About 4:25 p.m. Monday, the Logansport Police Department Patrol Division responded to a call for service in the 1500 block of Grant Street in reference to a complaint of drug activity, according to a press release from the LPD.

A concerned citizen had located items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Upon further investigation, a methamphetamine laboratory was discovered at a residence located at 1516 Pleasant Hill.

Kody McDonald, 20, Logansport, was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, a class B felony; possession of precursors, a class D felony; reckless possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; possession of methamphetamine, a class D felony; and possession of marijuana, a class A misdemeanor.

McDonald is being held on a $5,005 bond at the Cass County Jail. Additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.

The Logansport Police Department was assisted during the investigation by the Logansport/Cass County Drug Task Force, The Indiana State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team, and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
