Two arrested on drug-dealing charges

---- — AKRON — A search warrant executed on a residence in Akron on Monday resulted in the arrest of two men.

With the help of the Kosciusko County SWAT Team and Indiana State Police, the Fulton County Sheriff Department searched a residence at 2097 S. 700 East, Akron.

There, Ronald P. Lambert, 73, and Ronald R. Lambert Jr., 50, were arrested on charges of dealing in a controlled substance, a Class B felony, and possession of controlled substances, a Class D felony.

The search warrant was obtained as a result of a long-term narcotics investigation by the Fulton County department.

Cash, firearms, vehicles and controlled substances were seized during the search, according to police reports.

Both men remain in the Fulton County Jail with no bond.
