Police blotter: Jan. 10, 2014



5:47 a.m. — Arrest. Francisco Gutierrez, 39, Logansport, was arrested on charges of habitual traffic violator and leaving the scene of an accident. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

8:49 a.m. — Crash. 2400 block of East Market Street. A vehicle driven by Gerardo Montano, 20, Logansport, struck a parked vehicle. Logansport Police Department.

2:09 p.m. — Crash. 600 block of East Broadway Avenue. Clarissa Hillenburg, 36, Logansport, reported that another vehicle backed into her vehicle and left the scene. LPD.

2:44 p.m. — Crash. 500 block of 15th Street. A snow plow operated by Jeffery B. Gleitz, 40, Logansport, scrapped a parked vehicle. LPD.

3:52 p.m. — Arrest. Alex Fernandez, 27, Logansport, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and theft. LPD.

3:53 p.m. — Crash. Ninth and East Market streets. Vehicles driven by Sabrina McManus, 46, and Darla Ward, 62, both of Logansport, collided. LPD.

7:50 p.m. — Arrest. Thomas Eugene Roseberry, 33, Peru, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. CCSD.


12:36 a.m. — Arrest. Kayla Whitus, 21, Logansport, was arrested on two charges of battery on an EMT, B misdemeanor, two charges of battery on an officer, A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct. LPD.



6:24 p.m. — Dispatched for a gas leak. 111 11th St. Logansport Fire Department.

7:11 p.m. — Assist medics. River bluff trail. LFD.

9:51 p.m. — Dispatched for fire alarm. 1711 Smith St. LFD.


3:29 a.m. — Dispatched for a sparking outlet. 31 E. Linden Ave. LFD.
