Ind. 25 crash leaves Kentucky man hurt

From Staff Reports

ROCKFIELD — A Thanksgiving morning crash might have broken the back of the driver.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Kristopher Paulson of Louisville, Ky., left Ind. 25 just north of Rockfield about 10:30 a.m., flipped over the top of the railroad tracks that run parallel to the highway and came to rest on the other side.

Paulson, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit this morning.

Police say alcohol might have been a factor in the crash, which held up train traffic Thursday morning.
