Farmer found dead

Fulton County coroner’s office investigating cause of death

ROCHESTER — The body of a Fulton County farmer was found beneath a combine on Saturday.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department received a report at 4:14 p.m. Saturday of a person trapped beneath a combine in northeast Fulton County. According to a news release, 69-year-old David R. “Ronnie” Utter of rural Rochester was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death is under investigation by the Fulton County coroner’s office.

Assisting at the scene were the Akron Police Department, Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester Fire Department and Mentone Fire Department.
