Area homemakers holding bingo event

WINAMAC — The Pulaski County Extension Homemakers are having a Vera Bradley Bingo on Oct. 14 at the Winamac VFW.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games start at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $20 or by calling the Extension Office at (574) 946-3412.

Kindergarten prep topic of meeting

Cass County Reading Railroad and the Logansport Community School Corporation will hold an informational meeting for preschool and day care directors at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Logansport-Cass County Public Library.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the school corporation’s curriculum and what facility directors can do to help prepare students for kindergarten.
