The third annual Cass County Youth Entrepreneurial Fair is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Community Room at the Logansport Mall.
The public is invited to attend this free event.
An awards banquet will immediately follow for students and parents. This event is part of the “Inventors, Inventions and You” class through the SUCCEED program.
“Inventors, Inventions and You” is a program designed specifically for fourth, fifth- and sixth-graders with entrepreneurial aspirations. SUCCEED (Stimulating Unlimited Cass County Entrepreneurs and Economic Development) is an effort to create a more entrepreneurial culture in Cass County.
This year, 15 students who completed the course will be showing off their inventions. In addition, two high school students have entered business plans.
All participants will be awarded a $100 savings bond. The Office of Rural Affairs Grant that the program has been awarded will allow for a session with a patent attorney for those who wish to pursue protecting their idea.
