Bereavement support meeting rescheduled

The bereavement support group that normally meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month will not meet today because of a scheduling conflict. The meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the Red Cross chapter house at 1200 W. Market St.

Hospital holding bake sale, raffle

A bake sale and quilt raffle will be held beginning at 6:30 a.m. Friday in the Memorial Hospital lobby.

The quilt will be raffled at noon.

Tickets are available at the bake sale or from Nancy Williamson.

All of the money will be donated to the American Brain Tumor Association in memory of Dale Williamson who passed away in February after a five and a half year battle with a brain tumor.

Applications due for upcoming pageant

Applications for Miss Cass County need to be turned in by Friday. They can be dropped off at the Cass County Extension Office.

Cheerleaders selling mulch

FULTON — The Caston cheerleaders are selling bulk landscape mulch.  

The price is $27 a yard.  

Pickups can be loaded evenings or weekends at the first house south of the Caston School on Ind. 25.

Marsh celebrates remodeled stores

Marsh Supermarkets Inc. will celebrate two store conversions on Thursday in Logansport.

The newly remodeled stores are located at 315 14th St. and 824 N. Third St. There will be a ribbon cutting at the 14th Street store and a meet-and-greet at the Third Street store.

Improvements to the stores include new fixtures, enhanced product offerings and improved lighting. Both locations will operate under the Marsh Hometown Market banner.

Store management, members of the corporate team from Marsh headquarters and representatives from the local community will be present at Thursday’s events.

Juice and doughnuts will be served from 9 to 11 a.m. and the first 200 customers at each location will receive a $5 Marsh gift card beginning at 9 a.m.
