A Logansport teenager was reportedly home from the hospital this morning after a one-car accident Tuesday night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident along 325E south of 250S just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. Cass County sheriff’s deputies said 16-year-old Logan G. Brock was alone in his vehicle when it skidded sideways off the roadway and slammed into a utility pole.
Brock was removed from the 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix by firefighters from Logansport and Walton and then taken by Cass County EMS to Logansport Memorial Hospital before being transferred by helicopter to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Brock is the son of Pioneer High School Principal Bob Brock. According to a school official, Logan Brock returned home from the hospital early this morning.
Investigators said the teenager was wearing a seat belt and that the vehicle’s airbags did deploy as a result of the wreck.
