Chamber announces Third House session
The Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce has announced the date for the first Third House session in Cass County for the 2009 legislative session.
From 8 to 9 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Inntiquity Inn, state Reps. Rich McClain and Douglas Gutwein and state Sen. Randy Head will be on hand to discuss topics facing lawmakers in the current session.
McClain, Gutwein and Head will discuss projects they will be working on for the 2009 session and will be available for questions and answers.
The chamber provides this opportunity for residents of Logansport and Cass County to have one-on-one time with area legislators.
Inntiquity is located at 1075 N. Ind. 25, just north of Logansport. A select breakfast menu will be available.

Cheerleaders plan fish fry fundraiser
FULTON — The Caston cheerleaders are sponsoring fish and chicken tender fry planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria at Caston High School.
A donkey basketball game will be held at 7:30 p.m. after the meal.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4.50 for children ages 6 through 12. Carry-out will be available.

Cass Y offering tumbling class
The Cass County Family Y is offering Totally Tumbling for children ages 3 to 8. 
This class begins at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at the YMCA. 
This will be a five-week class and will focus on flexibility, strength and tumbling.
