As it stands, the Lewisburg bridge is more than 75 percent complete. Rehabbing the 94-year-old bridge that provides access into the town of the same name was scheduled to be completed Oct. 31. Until a deal on an extension is reached, the contractor, Jack Isom Construction, is being fined $1,500 per day.
