Relay for Life offers thanks

The American Cancer Society would like to extend it’s sincere gratitude to the many people from your organizations that worked to support our lifesaving mission through their participation in the 2012 Relay for Life of Cass County.

This past June, nearly 500 people came together as a community at Pioneer High School with one common goal — to fight back against cancer and to celebrate the collective victory of local cancer survivors. In these challenging times, the people of Logansport and surrounding Cass County remain dedicated to the cause and raised over $68,000 to support the fight against cancer.

As the leading cancer-fighting organization in the country, we are proud to partner with companies to battle America’s number one public health concern. Your support helps the American Cancer Society fund it’s comprehensive approach to addressing the cancer burden. Specifically, we fund approximately $150 million in promising cancer research each year and provide vital patient support programs, which help local patients navigate their cancer journey.

Again, we genuinely appreciate community sponsor partners with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Thank you for your generous contribution so that we may further our mission to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
