PUBLIC FORUM: What does God say about homosexuality?

(Continued)

Read God’s word so you won’t be led astray. The “world” wants you to listen to “man” not “God”. Man can legalize sins but their laws won’t hold up on judgment day. I am not judging but informing.

Galveston department gets a bad rap

I am writing this letter in regards to Galveston Fire Department and first responders. In the past, there has been negative reported about our little town and I just wanted the thank the Galveston first responders in the quick respond in taking care of me on Halloween night.

They are the best and I couldn’t have asked for better care or service. To all of you who work in this department, thank you for your time and service.

Thanks for makingevent a big success

The Baptist Temple observed its fifth annual Harvest Party on Sunday evening, Oct. 20, 2013. We would like to thank all those who helped make it a success.

We had great food with 66 in attendance and gave out wonderful gifts donated by local businesses. A big thank you to all those businesses. It is great when you live in a community that is so wiling to help others.

We want to thank all those who prepared the food, made the cakes for the cakewalk and cleaning up when we were done. Everyone left with something to take home. Again we want to thank you for what you did.
