PUBLIC FORUM: Lawmakers acting like spoiled brats

— Please believe me, I’m truly sorry I had to write this email. I hate writing them. A few days ago I watched the Senate channel on TV for about 45 minutes and it really had an impact on how childish you people are acting about government business. I watched Sen. McConnell and Sen. Reid (if that tells you anything). I have watched other sessions with Congress and arrived at the same decision. You all are acting like a bunch of spoiled brats.

It seems like you couldn’t come to a compromise on who should escape a burning barn first. That’s how childish it seemed.

I’ve decided to make a suggestion. Why don’t you think about this great country first? Come to a conclusion about the business at hand, then go out back and have a knock down, drag out fight, then come back in and go to work again. The ladies could be the cheerleaders.

If you don’t start thinking about this great country, it won’t be here much longer. Just step back, listen to what you say, and how you say it, then remember that you are simply an employee of the citizens of this great country.

Another point; If you were put on Social Security and Medicare, you would quickly find a solution to their problems.

And your salaries are too damn high for what you are accomplishing. You take too many vacations and you should talk to the citizens more often.

I hope and pray you have been asking for God’s help because if you don’t, it won’t be there

May God Bless you, and I hope you find his help in making your decisions.

Aubrey Bryant, Liberty
