I recently returned from a driving trip throughout Kentucky, Tennessee and barely into Alabama. When I filled up in preparation for the trip, the price of regular here was $3.89. The minute I crossed into Kentucky, the price was $3.25. Throughout the rest of the trip, the average fill-up was $3.25, and one fill-up was $3.15 per gallon. All these were top name brands.
Imagine my shock when I returned to Logansport and paid $4.25 to fill up. On the surface, this sure seems obscene. I'm waiting for "the rest of the story."
