PUBLIC FORUM: The people are losing control of its government

The people are losing control of government

President Obama and progressive Democrats and Republicans are changing the landscape of our country by bypassing our Constitution and what our forefathers fought and gave their lives for. Their philosophy comes from a book titled “Rules for Radicals” written by an American community organizer and writer Saul David Alinsky. In his book, he outlines eight levels of control to create a socialist/communist state.

1. Control healthcare and you control the people. We have Medicare, Medicaid and now Obamacare.

2. Increase the poverty level because poor people will not fight back if the government is providing everything for them. We have 49 percent of the people on food stamps.

3. Increase the national debt to an unsustainable level. Taxes are going up and our debt has almost doubled in the last five years.

4. This administration wants to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens which would allow our government to become a police state. Citizens would lose the ability to defend themselves from the government. Eric Holder is now suggesting that all gun owners should wear a bracelet which looks like a watch but has a tracking device which tells the government your location 24 hours a day.

5. Our welfare programs allow the government to take control of every aspect of our lives such as food, housing and income.

6. Take control of education and determine what children learn in school and what people read and listen to. Common Core must go.

7. This government is doing everything it can to remove faith in God from our schools and our lives. Christian values made this country great.

8. This administration wants to divide the people; wealthy against poor, black against white, and citizens against corporations. The more discontent there is, the easier it is to raise taxes and blame the wealthy for people being poor.

Wake up, America! Are we losing our freedoms to a few elitists who are hungry for power and money? Have we already lost our country without a shot being fired? We have an administration that picks the laws they will enforce. It’s time to throw them out. God needs our help to save America! It is time to start caring.
