---- — Buddy Bag program says thanks for your help

Thompson Totes Southeastern Buddy Bag program thanks the community for its support.

Thank you to Mr. Happy Burger, Walton Christian Church, and the many staff, administration, volunteers and patrons of the Southeastern School Corp. for the wonderful support shown for the Dec. 4 Haps Chicken Bash fundraising activity!

The Thompson Totes Southeastern Buddy Bag program currently provides 139 school children with weekend food during the school year.

This program is funded by the generous donations of Cass County individuals, businesses, and churches. The generosity of this amazing community continues as children from Galveston and Walton Elementary Schools are fed each weekend.

It says in the Bible: “If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:10). The light is so bright in Cass county and the Southeastern School district that we just might need sunglasses!

Thanks for keeping our best interests at heart

Two things I’d like to comment on this day.

First, I went to the mall this morning to walk, and when I entered the mall, I was pleasantly surprised at how very beautiful it had been decorated. Everything looked fantastic and elegant.

Second, I want to thank the good people who are working to make sure the Pyrolyzer plant is not a dud and sticking it to Logansport with a dud. Also Mercedes Brugh, thank you. It means a lot to me to know you are looking out for our best interest. Also thankful to Jan Fawley and Jim Brugh, keep up the good work.

We need good people here in Logansport to look out for us who really don’t understand all that needs to be investigated or looked into. Please keep up the good work.

No Pyrolyzer plant up and running anywhere? Huh, I wonder why.
