Open house a success thanks to many

Logan’s Landing’s would like to thank everyone who helped make our 14th annual Downtown Christmas Open House a success! By exchanging donations of food and pet items for tickets and depositing those tickets at participating merchants, many lucky shoppers won great prizes, while supporting local businesses.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, we collected approximately half a ton of food and pet items! These items have been distributed to the Emmaus Mission Center, Salvation Army, and the Cass County Humane Society. We are grateful to Cass Area Transit for providing shuttle bus service during the event, and to Cass-Pulaski Community Corrections for setting up the bus stop signs. Special thanks to all the volunteers, especially Event Chair Michelle Dials and Promotion Committee members Greg Packard, Sandi Korreckt, Jennifer Savini, Mike McMahan and Kim English.

I hope you enjoy having food in your house and so many may not, you selfish radicals. Pass some jobs bill and they sure will take the jobs!! Less government no, you sure take yourselves! No more privatization, it just costs more!

Hands off the Social Security we earned! And Medicare, Medicaid and food stamps.
