PUBLIC FORUM: Letters for Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014

(Continued)

“Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman that is detestable.” Leviticus 18:22.

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?

“Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, male prostitutes, homosexuals, drunkards, slanders, will not inherit the kingdom of God. “ 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great numbers of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you will be saved.” Romans 10:9-10.

“Offer your bodies as living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God this is spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:1-2.

I pray for the true believers of Jesus Christ to pray for the ones who are blinded by false teachers of today, and pray that they receive the true word of God that will set them free. The word of God says stand up for the weak and don’t be ashamed of the love of Jesus, who died to give all to the truth and to set them free. Seek the truth, don’t be deceived!

Logansport

Why aren’t the young people helping out?

Sure would be nice to see some able-bodied youths out and about in this winter weather shoveling sidewalks and walk ways to homes just because it is the nice thing to do [weather permitting of course]. It doesn’t have to be just for the elderly who can’t get around so easy, it can be just for the good of the public.
