Vote against REMC merger

Dear Carroll County REMC members: Are we sure that we want to consolidate with White County REMC? It has come to our attention that we are already in debt and White County is in much larger debt than Carroll County REMC. Is it reasonable that we should vote to consolidate and assume someone else’s debt? Vote no!

Your vote is a yes if you do not attend the meeting and vote no on June 21. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

If consolidation is approved, how long until a bigger company buys us out? We then lose all control. A question we as members need to think about.
