In their own words

Editor’s note: The Pharos-Tribune poses a question to a group of youngsters each week to get their take on a topic. We hope you enjoy their responses as much as we do. We polled children in first grade at Columbia Elementary and asked the following question:

What food do you not like?

“Macaroni and cheese. Whenever I eat it, I have a feeling like I’m gonna throw up.”

- Brooke Overman

“Psgetti. I don’t like it, I don’t like it at all. It has those red things in it and I hate those.”

- Brayden Elkins

“Peach. I don’t like the juice of it.”

- Alexya Miller

“I don’t like peas. Every time I eat them my belly hurts.”

- Joseph Snay

“Kiwi. Whenever you eat the outside, it kinda stings your tongue.”

- Jessie Tovar

“Potatoes. They taste kinda nasty”

- Jayden Brumett

“Bread and macaroni. I don’t like the cheese on the macaroni. When I smell the bread, sometimes it smells nasty and sometimes it smells good.”

- Madison Hardy
