Editor’s note: Pharos-Tribune lifestyle writer Melissa Soria poses a question to a group of youngsters each week to get their take on a topic. We hope you enjoy their responses as much as we do. We polled children at Little Children’s Ministry in Logansport and asked the following question:

What has been your favorite summer memory?

Flying kites with my momma and my dadda.
-Cody Cummins

Going to school at my church. My dad is the boss of games, and my mom is the snack boss. I also like going in the pool because we can splash in there and squirt our little squirty things.
-Wesley Grandstaff

Playing in my sandbox cause I can make sandcastles. I fill the bucket and just press it down. I pretend cars are riding on the road.
-Kaylee Gellinger

Playing games like hop scotch and leap frog and that type of stuff. When you play leap frog, you get hopping skills. Like, it helps your feet exercise and stuff.
-Arin Deane

Riding my bike with just me. Sometimes, I do it with my brother and my mother.
-Alexia Hernandez
