Pets of the week

The Cass County Animal Shelter pet of the week is Newton, a chocolate Lab mix. He is six months old and gets along well with other animals.
The Cause for Paws pet of the week is Big Nick, a 1- to 2-year-old neutered male golden retriever/yellow Lab mix. He’s up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention.

READY FOR A HOME: The Cass County Animal Shelter pet of the week is Newton, a chocolate Lab mix. He is six months old and gets along well with other animals. He would do best with older children in the home and a fenced yard where he could run and play. If interested in Newton or any other pet, visit the Cass County Animal Shelter at 1255 N. FAMILY WANTED: The Cause for Paws pet of the week is Big Nick, a 1- to 2-year-old neutered male golden retriever/yellow Lab mix. He’s up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Big Nick is a wonderful example of two terrific breeds. He’s very social and affectionate. He can be a bit of an airhead, but he’s goofy and lovable. Good with kids and other dogs. Nick is currently an outside dog, but is young enough to train for any environment. Big Nick can be seen at the Cause for Paws adoption center in the Logansport Mall. The center is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
