FURRY FRIEND: The Cass County Animal Shelter pet of the week is Tony, a Maine coon mix. Tony is a year old and litter-box trained. He’s a friendly cat who would do well with other animals in the home. If interest in Tony or any other pet, visit the animal shelter at 1255 N. State Road 17 or call (574) 739-1179.
FRIENDS WANTED: The Cause for Paws pets of the week are Merlin (L) and Ed Jr. These boys are not so patiently waiting for anew home. Both are neutered, up to date on vaccinations and declawed, and both have that “Garfield” personality, even though Ed Jr. does love to give big hugs. Ed has a bobbed tail, and Merlin appears to have a good portion of Siamese in him, with blue eyes and dark points. A Cause for Paws has promised a discounted adoption fee for these handsome gentlemen. Both can be seen at the adoption center in the Logansport Mall. The center is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
