Editor’s note: Pharos-Tribune lifestyle writer Melissa Soria poses a question to a group of youngsters each week to get their take on a topic. We hope you enjoy their responses as much as we do. We polled children in Katrina Scagnoli’s first-grade class at Fairview Elementary School in Logansport and asked the following question:

If you could switch places with someone for a day, who would you be?

My brother because he doesn’t have to go to school. He was born last November.
-Bryce Wilson

A rock star. I’d buy an RV because you can sleep in it.
-Maritza Salmeron

The president. All video games would be free and I’d make sure every kid had at least one toy.
-Isaiah Elzbeck

Spiderman. I would climb walls and push people off of buildings. I would bring people to jail and fling webs when no one else was around.
-Xavier Gordon

I would like to be the president. I would make all the bugs go away and make toys come alive.
-Morgan Callaway
