GREAT WITH KIDS: The Cause for Paws pet of the week is Maggie, a 1-year-old spayed female mix. She is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Maggie will be a medium-sized dog. She is great with kids and fine with other dogs. She also appears to be house trained. She would be terrific on a farm where she could pal around with her people outside or in town, but she would adapt easily to any situation. Maggie can be seen at the Cause for Paws adoption center in the Logansport Mall. The center is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
