SMART PET: The Cause for Paws pet of the week is Charlie, a 1- to 2-year-old neutered male border collie mix. Charlie is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. He is extremely smart, just like you would expect from a border collie. He is also energetic.  He is fine both with children and other dogs, but he does not get along with cats. Charlie can be seen at the Cause for Paws adoption center in the Logansport Mall. The center is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Photo provided/ (Click for larger image)

TAKE ME HOME: The Cass County Animal Shelter pet of the week is Willy, a 1-year-old beagle mix. Willy is looking for a forever home. He is crate trained and loves to play with other dogs.
