  • LCSC ACADEMIC SUPER BOWL
    Students from several area middle schools competed April 26 in the Academic Super Bowl at Tecumseh Middle School in Lafayette.

  • Pioneer academic super bowl team competes in Lafayette
    The top performance was turned in by the Mathematics squad. Justin Hughes, Nathan Kistler, Aaron Marshall, Melanie Shrontz, and Nathanael Stevenson scored 20 out of 25 and captured first place among the Class 4 schools.

  • Midwest Math Contest
    Pioneer math students won the Midwest Math Contest on April 23.

  • Skilled scholars
    At Century Career Center each teacher will nominate two students throughout the year to receive the title of Century Career Center Skilled Scholar.

    Bethany Michelle Arthur was inducted into the Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the University of Indianapolis on April 19.

    IUPUI University College recently released the names of the 1,977 students who achieved academic distinction making the dean’s list for the fall 2007 semester.

    The Logansport Cass County Public Library celebrated National Library Week by hosting the first Battle of the Books.

    Claire Crum and Brock Reish served as Indiana House Pages during the 2008 session of the Indiana General Assembly alongside State Rep. Rich McClain. The Indiana House Page Program is a way for students to become more familiar with the lawmaking process by meeting their state representative and witnessing how laws are made. Crum and Reish are both sixth-graders who attend Thompson Elementary School.

  • Internship program continues at LHS
    The internship program at Logansport High School is coordinated by KaAnn Lord, family and consumer science teacher.
