---- — Trash bags ready for pickup

Just a reminder that a few trash bag orders have not been picked up yet from McCord's Do It Best. McCord's is open Monday though Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They need to be picked up by Sunday, Nov. 2. Photography on display in Akron

AKRON — The works of nine members of the Akron Area Arts League photography group are featured at the Fulton County Library, Rochester, now through Nov. 19. The exhibit contains a wide variety of subjects in black/white and color.

The group meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month, except December, in the Community Presbyterian Church, 530 Jefferson St., Rochester. Anyone who has an interest in photography and cameras is welcome to attend. For more information, call Don at 574-598-2875.

Music, pie at Caston choir concert

FULTON — Caston High School is having a Fall Choir Coffee House at 7 p.m. Nov. 9, in the Caston Cafeteria. They will be serving homemade pie, beverages, and musical entertainment. Tickets are $5 available at the door. There will also be a Membership Presentation for Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter 1823, 7 p.m. Nov. 14, in the cafeteria.

Women's barbershop chorus to perform

ROCHESTER — River Bend, a women's barbershop chorus, will perform "Sweat'n to the Oldies" at 4 p.m. Nov 10 in Community Presbyterian Church, 530 Jefferson St., Rochester. River Bend is from South Bend and features acapella four-part barbershop harmony.

The church's platform will be transformed into a gymnasium and the chorus will be deep into exercise as they sing the old familiar songs. Refreshments will be served following the performance. Donations are accepted to help support CPC Sunday programs.
