---- — Town entrances change for Heartland work

BURROWS — As part of the Hoosier Heartland Highway project, the Indiana Department of Transportaion has closed Carroll County Road 100 East in Burrows, which was the west entrace to the town. Now, Carroll County Road 900 North is open on the south side of Burrows.

Burlington Fall Festival coming soon

BURLINGTON — The town of Burlington is having its five-day fall festival starting Wednesday. The queen contest will kick off the festival at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Prince/Princess Contest at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. On Sept. 20, events will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Activities on Sept. 21will be from 6 a.m. to 9:15 p.m., and Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Obedience training orientation slated

A Cause for Paws/Logansport Kennel Club dog obedience training will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cause for Paws in the Logansport Mall. This is orientation and sign up, people only. No dogs this night, and come in the back door. For more information, call Nancy Moore at 574-889-3495.
