---- — Logansport Library going 'dotty'

The Logansport librarians are going “dotty”! No, they’re not losing their minds. They are celebrating International Dot Day and would like to include you and your child.

International Dot Day started in 2009 and is based on Peter Reynolds’s "The Dot," a book that celebrates creativity, bravery, and self-expression. It also highlights what a powerful influence a teacher can have in a student’s life.

Children and their families can visit the library between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m. Friday for fun-filled activities to go along with the book. For more information, call the library at 574-753-6383.

Fish fry to boost lake enhancements

NYONA LAKE — The Nyona S. Mud Lake Boosters are having an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the club house, 2999 N. Knoll Drive, Nyona Lake.

The dinner includes a drink and dessert. The proceeds from the dinner will be used for lake enhancement and to pay for the street lights.
