Newspaper conducting research survey
What newspapers do you read? What websites do you visit? Where do you shop? How do you use our newspaper and website? Answers to these and other lifestyle and shopping questions not only help the Pharos-Tribune and pharostribune.com give you the information you need and want, but could also land you a prize.
The Pharos-Tribune and pharostribune.com have partnered with Pulse Research, an independent research company, to conduct a survey which should take about 20 minutes to finish.
Each person who completes the survey will be automatically entered into a drawing for a Kindle Fire HD or a $250 gas card. Visit www.pulseresearch.com/pharostribune to fill out the survey.
With a better understanding of your spending and purchasing plans, the Pharos-Tribune and pharostribune.com will be able to show local businesses that there's a market for the products and services they offer.
Your information will be kept confidential and used for this survey's purposes only. You will not receive any solicitations as a result of completing this survey.
Summer concert series continues
GREENTOWN — Music At The Fountain is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22. It is a summer concert series continuing weekly through Sept. 12, and it begins at 7 p.m. each evening. The location in Greentown is north of the stoplight on Meridian Street in front of the fountain and the Greentown Glass Museum, 112 N Meridian St., Greentown.
Performances are free, but concertgoers are asked to bring a lawn chair and enjoy a wonderful evening of music, fun and fellowship. At intermission, there is an "old fashioned" cake walk which has become an enjoyable part of the evening. The rain location is at the Eastern High School cafetorium.
