---- — Express enrollment set for Ivy Tech

KOKOMO — Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region is hosting two Express Enrollment events at 1 and 5:30 p.m. Thursday on the Kokomo Main Campus for students ready to begin classes this summer or fall online or at any Ivy Tech location in the region. Express Enrollment is the College’s statewide effort to help students move quickly through the admission process and on to advising and enrollment.

Students whose academic record allows an alternative to assessment testing also can meet with an academic advisor and schedule classes or schedule an appointment for advising at a later date.

Dinner Down Main Street

BURNETTSVILLE — Burnettsville Community Board and Burnettsville Volunteer Fire Department are hosting a Dinner Down Main Street from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 31. They will be selling tickets in advance. If you would like to purchase a ticket, contact Tiffany at 574-297-1668 or email to tcrowellburnettsville@yahoo.com. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for kids.

Weather permitting, the Dinner Down Main Street will be in front of the Community center. If weather is bad it will be at at the Beehive. Riverside will cook grilled loin, smoked chicken quarters, baked beans, cole slaw, chicken fingers and fries for the kids, tea and lemonade.

They are asking the community to help with the desserts. The Community board will be splitting the profits with the fire department.

Senior Olympics coming

WoodBridge Health Campus is celebrating Senior Health and Fitness Day with its second annual Senior Olympics from 2:30 to 4 p.m. May 30 at WoodBridge Health Campus, 602 Woodbridge Ave., Logansport, with the award ceremony at 3:45 p.m.

The free community event will have competitions including corn hole, putt putt, ladder ball, Wii balance, hurdles, basketball shoot and more. There will also be yoga chair mini sessions, 5-minute massages, vendor booths, a live DJ, healthy snacks and treats, blood pressure and oxygen saturation screenings and door prizes and drawings.

FOP golf scramble starts May 31

MONTICELLO — Fraternal Order Of Police Lodge 123 annual golf scramble will have a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. May 31 at the Tippecanoe Country Club, 3267 N.W. Shafer Drive, Monticello.

The entry fee is $200 per team the date of the event and includes a round of golf and lunch. First prize is $1,000.
