Spring show, Potawatomi ancestry talk

Annual Spring show Monday

ROCHESTER — The Maxinkuckee Singers will present their annual Spring show at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Community Presbyterian Church, 530 Jefferson St., Rochester. The program will consist of popular, sacred and standard tunes as well as comedy and dance. Donations are accepted.

Program covers ancestry

ROCHESTER — George Godfrey, Citizen Potawatomi and president of the Potawtomi Trail of Death Association, will give a free program titled “Uncovering My Potawatomi Ancestry,” at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Fulton County Museum, Rochester.

The public is invited to a carry-in lunch at noon preceding Godfrey’s talk. Meat and drinks will be provided. Attendees should bring covered dishes and table service.
