Color Dash, oil painting, concerts, fashion show, license branch hours

Color Dash to take place May 15

FLORA — There will be a Color Dash at 6 p.m. May 15 at the Carroll County 4-H Fairgrounds. You can either walk one lap around the track, which equals one mile, or run three times for a 5K. You will receive burst of green color before and after the run. The Carroll Co. 4-H Exhibit Board will provide a bottle of water and a healthy snack.

Pre-registration is required to receive a t-shirt, sunglasses and color and is be done no later than 3 p.m. Wednesday. For questions, call 765-564-3169.

Choirs to present annual concert

The annual “Choral Hour of Music” will be presented at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the McHale Performing Arts Center. Performing groups will include the Logansport High School Concert Choir and Swing Choir, the Columbia Middle School Choir, and the Lincoln Middle School Choir. Admission to the concert will be $3 for adults and $2 for students, with tickets available at the door only.

Children’s choir sings in spring

The Logansport Children’s Choir will present its 26th annual Spring Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the McHale Performing Arts Center. Performing groups will include the “Concert Choir” of third- through eighth-grade students, the “Chamber Choir” of students in sixth through 12th grades, and the combined choirs. Tickets are available at a cost of $5 for adults and $3 for students, and may be purchased at the McHale Box Office or at the door.

Fashion show coming to Goodwill

ROCHESTER — Goodwill will host a Spring Family Fashion Show at 1 p.m. Sunday at the store, 200 Rouch Place Drive, Rochester.

License branches extend hours for IDs

BMV license branches will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 5 and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 6. To ensure voters have immediate access to services, license branches will only process ID cards, driver’s licenses and learner’s permits. Driver’s tests will not be administered.

A photo ID is required to vote in the May 6 primary election.

Learn oil painting in Delphi
