Air Museum having packed Sunday
BUNKER HILL — On Sunday, Grissom Air Museum is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Bunker Hill Air Force Base. There will be ice cream and cake as they reflect back to the day when the area became a neighbor to one of the largest Cold War bases in history.

The museum will be also be hosting its annual Membership Picnic at 6 p.m. Sunday at the pavilion. The Board of Trustees annually meets with the members of the museum to enjoy a meal together and share some insights into the museum’s future. If you are a member of the museum and plan to attend, call Price. Members are to bring a side dish; the entree, drinks and table service will be provided.
Lecture series starts Sunday
PERU — Arts Alive! of Peru Community Schools is presenting its fourth Annual Lecture Series, Sundays at the Gallery.
Starting Sunday, the PCS Fine Art Gallery will be hosting Professor Thelma Rohrer, Chair of the Department of Art at Manchester University, North Manchester. The gallery will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. with Prof. Rohrer’s lecture beginning at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
