MONTICELLO — The Monticello-Union Township Public Library will have a MDwise West Central Outreach Consultant visit the library to assist with Affordable Care Act health coverage enrollment on the following dates: from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday; from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2; from 4 to 7 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 6; and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

Time capsule to be buried
The city will bury a time capsule at 11 a.m. Oct. 30 at LMU Park. The public is welcome. Chris Armstrong, Community Development Director for the city is currently collecting items for the time capsule. Anyone who has something they think should go in it can contact her at 574-753-2551 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All items are needed by Oct. 25 at the very latest and can be dropped off at the mayor’s office. Galbreath Industrial made the time capsule and Billman Monument is doing the marker for it.
Fish fry benefit slated Oct. 26
Dan's Fish Fry, benefiting the Rush Family is from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Logansport Mall Communty Center. Advance tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for children ages 6 to 13 and children 5 and under eat for free. Tickets at the door will be $9.50. The meal includes sides and dessert. Kewanna studio to host art show
KEWANNA — The 15th annual art show "People and Places" is from 12 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 and 27 at Works in Progress, 101 E. Main St., Kewanna. It is featuring over 30 artists with food and live music.
Pit your chili against the competition
The Elks Lodge is having a chili cook-off Satuday, Oct. 26. The judging will being at 4 p.m. and ready to eat at 5 p.m. There will be prizes for cook-off winners. There will be music and a beer tent as well; must be 21 to enter the tent.
