---- — Grissom museum to collect foodstuffs

GRISSOM ARB — All visitors to the Grissom Air Museum are invited to bring non-perishable food items to the museum during its normal business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. The food will be directed to the pantries in the area. Any organization wishing to receive this collected food, contact Jim Price at 574398-1451 or email him at director@grissomairmuseum.com.

Winter Wonderland slated in downtown Winamac

WINAMAC — Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce is presenting Winter Wonderland from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7 in downtown Winamac. There will be craft and business booths and musical entertainment, plus drives and sales of all kinds, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a holiday parade, horse and carriage rides, a luncheon and many more activities.

A Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Home Tour will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6. The town will begin the holiday season with the lighting of the Christmas Tree on the Courthouse Lawn followed by the Holiday Home Tours at Melody Braun's home, 1405 E. 250 South, Winamac; Bailey Hoover's home, 624 N. Forest Drive, Winamac; and Patrick Schuttrow's home, 117 W. Washington St., Winamac.

Thompson craft fair coming in December

WALTON — Thompson Elementary is having its 21st craft and gift fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 at the elementary, on Ind. 218. There will be cookies with Santa from 10:30 a.m. to noon — bring your camera! For more information, call 574-727-5205.
