Community happenings: Art exhibit, wheelchair basketball, concert

---- — Art exhibit features Kewanna painter

ROCHESTER — Steve Weinert, Kewanna, is the featured artist now through Saturday in the Fulton County Library, Rochester. Steve works in pen/ink and watercolors. Don Kegarise, also of Kewanna, will have acrylic paintings on display beginning Saturday and running through April 26.

Wheelchair hoops team plays Thursday

MONTICELLO — Twin Lakes High School is hosting the Lafayette Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Team who will be playing at 7 p.m. Thursday at the school. Tickets are $3 a person or $5 for the family. Monticello’s local Aktion Club will be honored during halftime.

Community concert features choral club

ROCHESTER — The Fulton County Choral Club under the direction of Joyce Jones, will be the featured group for the Community Concert this month at 4 p.m. March 16 at Community Presbyterian Church, 530 Jefferson St., Rochester. Refreshments will be served following the concert. The concert is open to the public and donations will be accepted.
