Tent revival slated Sunday

The Church of Christ at Logansport is having a Tent Revival at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be food on the grill, special music by their praise band and preaching from the Word. Come enjoy and bring your friends.

Project Spotlight voting open

Now that we have our nominations, the voting for Beacon Credit Union's Project Spotlight awards can begin! 2013 voting is scheduled to run Aug. 1 through Sept. 30 and will take place both online and in Beacon branches.

This year, the Project Spotlight nomination/voting process is different than previous years. All nominees that were submitted will have the chance to be voted on. The number of votes the nominee receives during the voting process, will determine how much money Beacon will award them in October.

At the end of the voting process, the project in each community receiving the most votes will win $1,000 of funding from Beacon Credit Union. The second place winners in each community will receive $500 of funding and the third place winners in each community will receive $250 of funding.

Visit or stop in at your local Beacon Credit Union branch and vote for a local nominee. You may vote once per day.
