Security Federal names retail loan ops officer

Security Federal Savings Bank recently appointed Bret Henderson as its Retail Loan Operations Officer.

Henderson comes with 11 years of experience within the banking industry. He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his master’s of business administration from Indiana University-Kokomo.

He and his wife Heather just recently relocated to Kokomo from Indianapolis.

Security Federal Savings Bank has $209 million in assets with five branch locations — two locations in Logansport and one location each in Kokomo, Delphi and Lafayette.

Myers Spring rolls out new website

Local men joinAngus association

Dennis & Randy Crume, Logansport, and Michael Gingrich, also of Logansport, are new members of the American Angus Association, reports Bryce Schumann, CEO of the national breed organization headquartered in Saint Joseph, Mo.

With nearly 24,000 active adult and junior members, the association is the largest beef breed association in the world. Its computerized records include detailed information on more than 17 million registered Angus.

Health care webinars offered in Spanish

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Small Business Administration in partnership with Small Business Majority and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will offer a series of webinars to help Spanish-speaking small business owners navigate the changes and opportunities in health care.
