Landing Downtown: Volunteers key to beautifying city

(Continued)

This year’s Green & Clean Day is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon May 3. We will gather at the Depot at 9 a.m., take group photos and hand out assignments. The teams will then fan out across the downtown district and give it a good spring cleaning! It is our belief that once the deep cleaning has been done, our citizens and visitors will be inspired to help keep our community clean and inviting.

If you’d like more information about Downtown Green & Clean Day 2014, contact Logan’s Landing. Volunteers working as a team are encouraged to make their team identifiable, by wearing t-shirts, hats or badges. We want your team to get the recognition it deserves! Individuals are also welcome — we will put you into teams and you will have the opportunity to make new friends and volunteer at the same time. We’d love to have your help as we make downtown Logansport green and clean!

Becki Harris is Executive Director of Logan’s Landing. She can be reached at 574-722-9345 or via e-mail at lldirector@loganslanding.com.
