The taxi service had been at Biddle's Island since July 2012. Around the beginning of February, the business moved to 310 S. Fifth St., according to general manager Richard Eubank.
Blue Star had been caught in the middle of a property dispute at its old location, Eubank explained. "We liked the Biddle property," he said. It had plenty of parking, though entering and exiting the property became difficult in heavy traffic, situated as it was between two bridges.
"Traffic was probably our biggest hazard," he said.
On Fifth Street, the taxi service has access to the city's two main roads, Broadway and Market Street, and has had no issues navigating times of heavy traffic.
