DUKES CLINIC EXTENDS HOURS

Dukes Medical Group recently extended the operating hours of its Logansport outpatient clinic. It's now open five days a week.

Obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Luis Velasco moved full time to the clinic March 3 after joining Dukes in September 2011. He had been practicing part time at the Logansport clinic since it opened in the summer of 2012.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide a bilingual Ob/Gyn physician of this caliber locally to the Logansport community on a full-time basis,” stated Debra Close, Dukes Memorial Hospital CEO, in a press release.

An orthopedic surgeon has also been seeing patients one day a week at the clinic since November.

The clinic is located at 3065 E. Market St. next to Shoe Sensation in Eastgate Plaza. DMG staff may be reached by calling 574-992-8421.
