Curves hoping to change locations

— Curves may soon have a new home in Logansport.
Currently located at 2511 E. Market St., manager Audrey Eaker said plans are in the works to move from to a slightly bigger building.
On Monday, Eaker received approval from the Logansport Board of Zoning Appeals to put up signs at the new location on 15th Street. Eaker said the move must now be approved through Curves’ corporate office.
The new location would offer a better layout and slightly more space, which would accommodate additional workout machinery, Eaker said.
“We like our current location, but we are maxed out,” said Eaker. “We are kind of stepping on one another and any upgrades with machinery would be difficult because of the layout.”

Chiropractor opening local office
Kokomo-based Health 1st Chiropractic will soon have a Logansport location.
Dr. Chris Whiteman will open his newest office at 3308 E. Market St.
“We knew that there weren’t too many chiropractors in the area,” said Whiteman’s wife and office manager, Kapri. “We thought it would be a good service to the community.”
The tentative opening date is set for May 1.
