ROCHESTER — An Illinois man is facing charges in Fulton County on allegations that he molested a 13-year-old Fulton County girl.
The arrest of Terrence Thompson, 33, Calumet City, Ill., was the result of a two-month criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Mike Tarrh.
According to an ISP press release, Tarrh’s investigation revealed Thompson had committed sexual acts with the girl in July and August 2013 in a Fulton County residence when Thompson was visiting a relative.
Officers with the Calumet City (Ill.) Police Department arrested Thompson at his home in January on a Fulton County warrant for three felony charges for child molesting and a single felony count for child solicitation.
He is being held in the Fulton County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
The Fulton County division of the Indiana Department of Child Services assisted in the investigation.
A pretrial conference is set for 11 a.m. March 10 in Fulton Circuit Court, Rochester.
