Connie and Earl Peters

Earl and Connie Peters, Delphi, will celebrate their golden anniversary with a family dinner on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Sportsmans in Monticello. An open house is planned from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 11 at Rockfield Community Center.

Earl and Connie Eikelburner were married Oct. 31, 1959, in Wheatland Avenue United Methodist Church in Logansport.

He retired after 31 years at Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo.

She retired from Flora Monroe Township Public Library and was a former media aide at Hillcrest Elementary School in Delphi for 18 years.

Their children are Patrick Peters and wife, Judy, Idaville; Michael Peters and wife, Joyce, Rossville; Barbara Tunget and husband, Paul, Williamsport; and Daniel Peters, Lafayette. They also have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards will be welcomed.
