Loyd and Doris Strong

— Loyd and Doris Strong will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, March 28. They will be honored with a family dinner at a later date.
They were married in the home of the bride’s parents near Macy by the Rev. Harry Rea on Easter Sunday, March 28, 1948.
Loyd worked at RBM and retired from civil service at Grissom Air Force Base in 1979. He operates Strong’s Furniture Repair from their home.
Doris is a homemaker.
They have one daughter, Sherry Hug, Goshen. They also have two granddaughters, three stepgranddaughters, three great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
