Question of the week

New high school graduation requirements ask students to not only earn a diploma through passing the necessary classes, but work outside the classroom. Some officials say this would help improve a student's employability. But some local educators think these requirements may force students to choose a track for college or a career field years before becoming a senior in high school, and some say the new guidelines aren't meeting the needs of students who aren't college-bound, especially those with special needs. Do you agree with the new requirements?
